Matthew Kahn

Matthew Kahn is a Senior Associate at Site Selection Group, where he identifies and negotiates economic incentives for clients, prepares detailed incentive summaries comparing finalist states, and assists with compliance and documentation to secure these benefits. With over 11 years of experience, Matthew began his career in New York as a Financial Analyst at SUNY in the Controller’s Office, laying a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting. He then specialized in tax and economic incentives at Ryan LLC, experiences that paved the way for his current role at SSG.

Specializing in manufacturing, distribution, technology, and corporate headquarters projects, Matthew focuses on securing tax abatements, grants, and other incentives for industrial, office, and mixed-use developments. His background includes working with major clients at Ryan LLC such as Dell, Caterpillar, and Samsung. At SSG, he has partnered with notable organizations including Bila Solar, Canadian Solar, Camso, and Golden State Foods.

An MBA graduate from Park University, Matthew is proficient in Excel, Access, Alteryx, IncenTrak, and several proprietary databases to track economic incentive deals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and child, running, rock climbing, and riding his dirt bike.
