Vice President
Katie Riegelman is a Vice President at Site Selection Group, where she helps lead the Economic Incentives Division. In her role, Katie is responsible for business development and management of compliance and targeted program services. She also plays a key role in training and mentoring the firm’s Economic Incentives resource team while working hands-on with clients to ensure accurate and strategic project-based compliance reporting.
With more than 15 years of experience in economic development, Katie brings deep subject matter expertise in incentive compliance and strategic advisory services. She has managed compliance for complex, multi-state projects across the U.S., with a portfolio that includes companies such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Domino’s Pizza, Frontier Communications, JBS USA, Schwan’s, Stone Brewing, Toro, and others.
Katie primarily supports industrial manufacturing and distribution projects, with specialized experience in the food and beverage sector. She is known for her creative problem-solving when navigating shifting job counts, wage thresholds, and investment targets—especially in today’s post-pandemic landscape.
Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Communication Studies from Hamline University and is a frequent speaker at industry events and panels. She previously helped develop a proprietary compliance software platform that enables clients to track incentive obligations, deadlines, and reporting milestones in real time.
