Billie Owens is a Senior Associate at Site Selection Group, where she focuses on negotiating state and local incentives for clients, as well as assisting them with compliance efforts. She is adept at navigating the intricacies of various incentive programs across different states and staying current on tax agreements and statutes that impact client outcomes.
With over five years of experience, Billie brings valuable expertise from her time in Tax Technology and Credits & Incentives. She also enhances team efficiency through her knowledge of Alteryx, a data automation tool that streamlines Excel processes and ensures timely compliance.
Billie earned a Bachelor of Science in International Trade & Finance with a minor in French from Louisiana State University in 2019. During her studies, she expanded her global perspective through study abroad programs at the Ecole de Management in Strasbourg, France, and the London School of Economics.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Billie enjoys cooking, reading, and walking her dog. She and her husband, Clint, were married in New Orleans in April 2024. A fun fact about Billie: she played college tennis during her freshman year at Lake Forest College.
