Alan-Wood-Square

As a Senior Vice President at Site Selection Group, Alan Wood brings over 30 years of experience in tenant representation, specializing in office and industrial real estate. Based in Dallas, he works closely with North Texas decision-makers and leads strategic real estate initiatives for clients nationwide and internationally. His work spans headquarters relocations, subleases and dispositions, data centers, call centers, and time-sensitive lease transactions.

 

Alan began his career at a boutique tenant representation firm before joining The Staubach Company in 2006, which later merged with JLL. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed transactions in more than 50 markets across the U.S. and abroad.

 

His clients have included Yahoo!, Hilti, Toyota Financial Services, Diamondback Energy, New York Life, Medieval Times, Sunwest Communications, Albertsons, Brierley+Partners, Mitsubishi Electric, and General Motors.

 

Clients benefit from Alan’s extensive experience, thoughtful leadership, and client-first approach. He is known for helping organizations think through their real estate decisions with a strategic lens and a clear understanding of what matters most to their business.

 

He is deeply involved in the community and has served in leadership positions with Leadership Dallas, March of Dimes, Town of Addison Planning & Zoning, WaterTower Theatre, and is a proud member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.

 

He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston, where he also played Division I golf. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, and catching up on books and podcasts. He and his wife, Kathie, who serves as COO of the nonprofit Carry the Load, have three daughters.
