Site selectors to tour tech campus, other business locations

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Four site selectors, who identify potential new locations for business clients, will tour the Capital Region, including Luther Forest Technology Campus this week.
The individuals, who represent more than 200 companies, will also visit the College of Nano-science and Engineering in Albany and the General Electric Co. Digital Imaging Center in Rensselaer Technology Park.
"They evaluate a community’s ability to do business," said Shelby Schneider of Saratoga Economic Development Corp. "The more they know about a community the better off you’ll be."
The visiting business leaders are Lee Higgins of the Site Selection Group in Austin, Texas; Thomas Stringer and Joseph Gioino of Ryan Consulting in New York; and Kathy Mussio of Atlas Insights LLC.
Tours are planned for Thursday and Friday morning.
