KONE Moving facility from McKinney to Allen

Kone Inc., the Illinois-based elevator firm, is moving its regional training, testing and warehousing center from McKinney to Allen.
The company has leased 20,475 square feet of office and industrial space in Allen’s Twin Creeks Business Center. Kone has also rented space in One Allen Center.

The company plans to relocate in the third quarter, according to Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services’ Susan Singer and Chris Stout who negotiated the deal. The building is owned by a development partnership between Bradford and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.
Allen, Frisco and McKinney competed for the Kone move.

Jeff Patman of Site Selection Group negotiated the lease with Bradford and Peloton Commercial Real Estate, which leases One Allen Center.
