Call center to create 250 jobs in Lee County

Alorica Inc., a customer support call center company, plans to add 250 employees to Lee County operations in the next three years.

The company will earn up to $199,200 in incentives from the Lee County Job Opportunity Program for the hiring.

Alorica opened an operation in Lee County in 2006 and now employs about 350 people and recently has moved to at 12601 Corporate Lakes Drive in Gateway.

“The positive business environment and community support allows our employees to provide exemplary support and customer service around the globe,” Gary Kimnach, Vice President Alorica Facilities said in a written statement. “The growth is exciting because it offers career advancement opportunities for our current team members and welcomes new talented individuals to our family.”

The company expects to hire about 50 technical support employees at about $10 an hour in the next two weeks.
